On November 29 2007, Coventry City footballers Michael Doyle and Elliott Ward took part in a press shoot for the PolkaDotGals
Campaign with Danni Wells. The press shoot in Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena led to newspaper and TV coverage, including interviews with the two players and PolkaDotGals Project Director, Bianca Embley, as well as TV footage and photographs of Michael and Elliott with Danni.
Houses of Parliament, Nov 07
On November 15 2007, the PolkaDotGals team appeared in a press shoot outside the Houses of Parliament. Girls wearing yellow and black polkadot skirts and t-shirts spelling out FIBROMYALGIA lined up in front of the Houses of Parliament for a photo shoot. Two of the calendar campaign’s celebrity endorsements, Danni Wells and Sara McGreavy also took part in the shoot. PolkaDotGals Project Director Bianca Embley was then interviewed for BBC Central, before attending a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Fibromyalgia with other members of the PolkaDotGals team.
